Last week, Macaroni KID McLean-Vienna-Falls Church hosted our first Moms Speed Friending Night at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in Fairfax.💛
Many attendees arrived knowing no one else in the room, but within minutes, everyone was talking to everyone! By the end of the evening, it was wonderful to see moms exchanging phone numbers, connecting on social media, and making plans to meet again. (We even made a Facebook group from that night...everyone is welcome to join to plan playdates, moms night out! https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1BQapyp2Xv/)
A special thank-you goes to Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar for generously hosting our event. We are also incredibly grateful to our swag bag sponsors, raffle prize donors, and local business partners who helped make the evening so memorable.
Guests enjoyed raffle giveaways(we have many prizes!), sponsor tables, and swag bags filled with goodies, coupons, and samples from local businesses. Most importantly, they left with something even more valuable: new connections within the community.
We moms need events like this just as much as kids need activities. Thank you to every mom who joined us and helped create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I had an amazing time, made awesome mom friends, and am already looking forward to future moms' events.
